‘Twist’ was the debut single from Derby based duo Miss 600. The single was playlist by BBC Radio 2 for 8 weeks in 2011 and it achieved over 12,000 plays on UK radio inc BBC Regional. Co written and co produced by Chris Bucknall.
‘I Like It’ by Narcotic Thrust became a huge hit in 2004. Charting in over 30 countries. It also was one of the highest charting UK dance tracks in the USA. Top line melody and lyrics by Robert.
A week after ‘I Like It’ became a top 10 hit in the UK, Robert once again found himself in the top 10, but this time as a remixer for Marillion. His Spirited Away mix of ‘When I Meet God’ featured on the bands single release.
Miss 600’s second single was ‘Typically Me’ and once again found itself on the BBC Radio 2 A list …
During his time at Big Life Robert produced tracks for Gina G. ‘Tonight’s The Night’ reached no.2 in the UK Club Charts in 2006.
Miss 600’s 3rd single from their debut album ‘Buying Time’ was Hello. Once again it was playlist by BBC Radio 2 and featured on a number of TV promos including the hit sitcom ‘Not Going Out’. Hello was also used as the theme to Crufts 2013 by Channel 4. Written by Robert and Chris Bucknall.
